Principal’s Address
With the committed team of Redcliffe Primary School teaching staff, we developed a new vision and mission statement which enabled us to identify areas of our weakness and further mapped the way forward. We ensured that we implement our new strategies with an intention to turn things around at the school.
Our first project was to revamp our school library which we pride ourselves on. The way we do our work in class had to change for the best. Not only sports and other extramural activities had to be re-introduced but a high standard thereof had to be ensured. Parent involvement in the management of school and in the school programs was also prioritised. Officials of the department as a support structure were and are still engaged maximally.
The school has since grown in leaps and bounds. Our learner enrolment has over a few years increased to about 1 100 learners currently.
When we noticed the increase in enrolment over the years, we became proactive and started engaging sponsors and donors who have built us three new classrooms and six ablution facilities for our Gr R learners. We are a fast moving train, we are unstoppable.
TO US, EDUCATION IS NOT A PRIVILEGE BUT A RIGHT; HENCE OUR AIM IS TO BE THE BEST SCHOOL FOR THE UNDERPRIVILEGED LEARNERS.
Regards.
